Clinical protenomics

The traditional proteomics technology has developed quite maturely but has to spend many time. It is not necessarily appropriate for clinical application which need effectiveness for a period of time. Therefore, it develops a fast screening technology for clinical disease which is called ClintprotTM System in these year. This system make use of different affinity ways. First of all, sample is isolated roughly and then is analyzed by mass spectrometer directly. In obtained protein profile, every peak possibly represents protein or peptide. After obtaining representative protein profiles of different processing groups, we can get multi-marker for clinical screening by statistics. The specificity and the sensitivity of multi-marker are higher than traditional single-marker. The sample amount needed in this system is low(5μl), and all procedure is very fast(about one hour per reaction). It accords with needed of effectiveness for a period time in clinic.

Sample delivery
The sample fresher is better. When we get samples, we have to carry on process and preserve activity immediately to avoid protein being decomposed and then affect the result of statistics. The most common sample in clinic are body fluid, serum, plasma and so on. After sampling body fluid, it can store in liquid nitrogen or preserve in -80℃ refrigerator temporarily. If the sample is blood, it has to settled, centrifuged and loaded separately and then preserved in liquid nitrogen or preserve in -80℃ refrigerator. When the sample is prepared completely, the company will dispatch official to receive in the shortest time.

lead time:
Because ClintprotTM System must have enough sample number to have the statistical significance, so it is usually carried on by project. Therefore, lead time is decided depend on constract.

Samples of the customer are analyzed, we will provide the customer the document content as follows:
1.Condition of sample preparation and mass spectrum analysis.
2.he result of mass spectrum analysis and finally the possible
biological markers which obtained by way of the statistical
   analysis.。

FAQ
Q1:
The biological markers used habitually in clinical such as CA125, whether also appear in this kind of analysis system?

A1:
The mass spectrum range obtained in this system mainly falls on 1~10 kDa, therefore, CA125 can’t appear in the mass spectrum of the system. But it makes up for the limit of the traditional two-dimensional electrophoresis system.(It is not easy to see the protein whose molecular weight is smaller than 10kDa or larger than 80kDa in the two-dimensional electrophoresis image. Extremely acid and basic protein also can’t be seen easily.)
